Our mission is to provide Deserving youth with the opportunity to experience the outdoors.
It's in Austin Hill’s memory that we created the Feet in the Forest. We are a not for profit organization raising funds for deserving youth to experience the outdoors. We feel deeply that Austin would love to know that other youth, with less than he had, will have the chance to enjoy what he loved so much. These experiences provide activities that ground, build confidence and self-esteem, and set youth on the right path in life. All proceeds are donated in support of three fantastic organizations that provide life-changing opportunities for deserving youth: The Refuge Youth Outreach Centre, Project Canoe and Outward Bound Canada.

We (Feet in the Forest) were invited to share our story on the Outdoor Journal Radio show, airing live on Roger's Sportsnet 590 the FAN. In this segment, Angelo, John and Ross discuss Austin, his passion for the outdoors as well as helping others, and how Feet in the Forest is striving to keep his legacy alive.
We chose these charities based on a variety of criteria, but above all were selected based on their mission to provide opportunities for youth across Canada. These programs help youth to develop life skills, social competency and resiliency to overcome life’s challenges and contribute to their own personal success.
